picture remains as it is without any changes

I bought the app on google play, the app has been installed and is operating normally , but when I open a picture edit with filters or rule saturation picture remains as it is without any changes!!! it also happens following the exercise!!! how can I solve the problem??

Is the tablet a Galaxy Tab of some sort? I've seen people with that device having problems applying filters and effects for some reason.
