On what computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 10 running?
What specific Instant Movie theme do you want to use?
What is the file extension of your music...mp3 or wav? If not .mp3 or .wav, what is the exact file extension for your music and
what is its source, iTunes or other? What is the duration of the song file?
Based on your reply, we will decide what next.
I just did a quick look at Premiere Elements 10 Windows Instant Movie "Baby Nursery" with a m4a iTunes audio and did not get
any invalid audio messages.
So, please lot of details on your audio that is presenting with this issue in Premiere Elements 10.
Hi. File extension is mp4. From ITunes. Instant movie theme is Celebrations. Duration of music file is 3:56secs.
Operating system is Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
According to Adobe online info, I should be able to use mp4 files.
Any help would be great.
Thanks for the reply.
I see no where that Premiere Elements supports an audio file import format with the .mp4 file extension.
Coupled with that is the known fact that Premiere Elements and other programs have problems with iTunes music files. Based on
history here and in general online, I would suggest that you convert your .mp4 iTunes music to .wav in iTunes, and then try to use
that in Premiere Elements.
Not sure if you need the instructions for the iTunes conversion from .mp4 to .wav, but the following is a link to the how to.
Please let us know if that worked for you.
Converted to mp3 and it works. So music has been imported. Thanks again for solving this.
I now have another problem.
I have dragged the photos I want to use into the sceneline in the order I need them to be in. When I select Instant movie, it asks for me to select the elements but I thought I had done this by putting them in to the sceneline.
I can't work out how to make the software create the instant movie from the sceneline I have created.

Many thanks for the follow up with good news.
On the recent question, when you are setting up the Instant Movie in its setup area, please remove the check mark next to Audio Edit and then
let us know if that worked for you to
make the software create the instant movie from the sceneline I have created.
Here I have assumed that you are referring to maintaining the Sceneline workspace's photo ordering without duplicates in the Instant Movie produced.
