Flash player problem

I have a windows vista 32bit system and use chrome as my main browser.

I recently updated Flash Player to version 15.0.0.152 but I noticed the active x was not installed when I checked it in the control panel.

will this have an effect loading certain flash applications

I have since used the adobe uninstaller and reinstalled flash and still no active x

I play some on line games and certain of these games will no longer load

So I suppose my question is do I need the active X as I notice my other computer has it installed with Flash and if I do how do I download it and install it,

I belive the version I'm looking for is ACTIVE X VERSION 15.0.0.167

The ActiveX version is for Internet Explorer.

The Plugin is for other browsers like Firefox.

Chrome comes with its own Flash Player preinstalled.
