I am using InDesign 5.5 on a new MacPro with current OS. When I attempt to create a package for the book I have created, I want to package only the linked photos (there are several hundred). When the process starts, I get an error message "Cannot copy necessary linked file(s)". All the photos are in a Thunderbolt drive attached to the Mac. Any ideas how to fix this?
Can happen if the file paths have restricted glyphs in the path names esp. a slash / some where. What happens if the files are moved to the HD?
