Hello dear forum users. We operate a local moving company in Los Angeles - http://www.fastruckmoving.com
We utilize a lot of pdf documentation to communicate with customers, and some of the pdf files are huge. Is there any proven way of compressing it? I have tried to compress with Acrobats built in options, but some of them are still pretty big .. For example http://www.fastruckmoving.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/1.-Shippers_consent_to_use_of_ele ctronic_documents_and_electron… is about 130Kb and it's only 1page!
I don't know why you think 130 KB is "huge"; in fact I think it's tiny! I have some 1-page documents that are 300 MB ~ 500 MB; that is rather large!
130 KB may have been considered large 20 years ago in the time of Windows 3.x, but today...?
But let me ask you: why do you consider your documents "huge" - do you experience any problems with them? Your sample form downloads within less than a second (and I am some 10,000 km away from your location).
Thank you for your reply Pat. I think you are right. 130kb is not as big as it may seem to me. It's just I just can't imagine how mostly text based document can be of this size.
