And choose your InDesign File and 1 image. Click Show Options - and import all InDesign pages.
This enables you to use the gridify feature to place all the InDesign pages.
You now make a grid for 32 pages (and 1 image).
You can then set up a text box under each inDesign page - using the Object - generate caption.
Replace the text under each with the numbers 1-32 (which you can import from a text file and thread all the text frames). Setting up the Paragraph Style Keep Options, to start in a new frame.
This would take seconds to setup and execute.
Thank you so much for your fast reply, I will try that
Eugene have you tried this? Multiple image placement works for me, but gridify doesn't appear when I'm placing ID or PDF pages.
Alas - I have tried this - the trick is to select 1 image as well - this allows the gridify function.
As if you're placing multiple pages, it's recorded as 1 object, but if you select an object the cursor is loaded with 2 objects now.
When you select Show Options, select all .indd or .pdf pages.
All pages import correctly.
