    Has anyone been able to create a subscript in a Fixed Layout ePub generated from inDesign CC 2014?

      inDesign currently exports my subscript in "CO2" as a regular number:

      I have tried a few tweaks to the code but have not been able to get it right. I have targeted the number "2" in "CO2" in the code and been able to change the size, but it seems no matter what I do I either end up with a superscript or the number completely disappears. I've tried the "sub" property value and a few negative percentages to move it down but I just can't get it right.

      span.CharOverride-7 {

        color:#000000;

        font-family:Alegreya, serif;

        font-style:normal;

        font-weight:normal;

        vertical-align:bottom;

          font-size: 100px;

      }

      Here is the result of this last bit of code in my ePub.

      Does anyone know how to achieve a subscript?

      Thanks!
