I keep getting this message when I try to install the Creative Cloud update. "Another installer is currently running, which must be closed before updating this product. Please close other installers.(Error code: 81) Contact Customer Support" I can't find another installer running. I've even restarted my computer. Thanks, Mike H.
Getting same error. A restart was ineffective.
NObody can know anything without proper system information. This could be anything from an automated updater e.g. For your virus scanner or some other install that never finished due to whatever issues...

running avast, but tried disabling it for 10 minutes.
Did a restart to clear any other updaters that might be running.
Solved on my end.
Started up in safe mode with networking and was able to perform update.
