Hi folks
I've been using Premiere Pro CS6 for a couple of years now editing videos for a minister. All has been well with that as each week I simply open the recent project and continue with it. Replacing the old video with the new.
But this week I had a need to begin a completely new project. In the other project, I'm able to insert an image or a video on the timeline, then double-click it in the Program Monitor to adjust its size and placement. Double-clicking ends up with sizing handles that allow me to move and size it. But for this new project, the Program Monitor doesn't seem to allow me to do that and I can't figure out why! It's just immune to clicking for reasons unknown to me.
The only difference I could think of is that for the new project the actual media was on a USB connected hard drive while the existing project has the media on my local D drive. I copied from USB to local drive but it seemed to make no difference.
Appreciate any guidance here.
Rick
Nevermind
Apparently it had something to do with the Workspace. I reset the workspace and it now works as I'm accustomed to.
Very strange... Rick
