There is an issue with the Publish in the latest version of Edge Animate (I assume you are using CC 2014.1)
Just delete the << "use strict"; >> from proj_edge.js, then things should work fine.
Let me know if you have still have the issue.
I am using cc 2014, but I can't find any "use strict" in the code. ???
Ok then you don't have to worry about it. That's specific to 2014.1
Can you share your composition for us to test it then?
How would I do that? Send you the actual edge file? Or the published files? How would I send it to you?
You first upload the files (complete Edge composition files) to dropbox and share the link here.
I'm experiencing a similar problem that Dtrace has described. I'm using 2014.1 and have per vivekuma's suggestion, removed the "use strict"; line of code. Unfortunately, the animation still does not show.
Any advise would be most appreciated.
Could you access those files?
When I am publishing the composition shared by you, it's working fine.
I think the problem is the way you might be uploading to the server.
Can you open the published content from the server in the chrome browser and send us the console messages from the chrome developer tools?
I figured out that it seems to be the ad blocker add on I have on chrome. When I turn that off, it works.
Is there any work around for this? If a viewer has this same add on, they won't be able to see it. Why is an ad blocker blocking html5?
