How about making the wave form view on the same screen as the multi track view. This, so you can select and drag events or regions from the waveform view window directly into a track on multi-track. Sony Vegas has had this for years with their "trimmer" on the same screen as the multi track. I've never understood the split personality of the multi track view-waveform view. I've been working with digital audio since the SAW pro days. Make it an option - for those who are accustomed to the status quo. I still prefer using Vegas for building radio spots for that reason.
