1. Re: No longer able to edit images inside the blog module? Has BC removed this function?
Liam Dilley Oct 16, 2014 2:23 PM (in response to BethVanVel)You should never resize in BC like that or through the file manager (which is what your looking for - Click the picture icon in Image Src and the resize will be there) because your doing Math.
Your either manipulating the image in the editor so it is still the large image but just looks smaller (same time to load though) or your telling a computer to size an image based on math.
Since it does not respect the image content it can skew it, it will distort it and if people make it bigger then it is, it will pixelate.
People should always use proper photo editing tools before importing images.

usher357! Oct 22, 2014 11:23 AM (in response to BethVanVel)Hi Beth, Liam answered this for me on another post.
Go into site settings / beta features/ untick active beta feature untick "enable for everybody". That should do the trick.
Check this link to see the conversation I am having with liam as I think we are on the same page....or maybe you can help with my questions...
is it possible to truncate the blog so 2 paragraphs show up?
cheers,
d

3. Re: No longer able to edit images inside the blog module? Has BC removed this function?
BethVanVel Oct 23, 2014 6:55 AM (in response to usher357!)Thanks for your help! Yeah, I didn't turn on the beta version activation either, so it must be auto activating. The site I'm working on was created in February/March and I'm the only admin working on the site. There's no way my client would know to turn that on!
