JimHess Oct 16, 2014 9:31 AM (in response to J-la)Catalogs must be stored on drives that are local to the computer. Lightroom is NOT a network-aware program. Lightroom is NOT designed for multi-user use.

dj_paige Oct 16, 2014 9:35 AM (in response to J-la)You might want to consider software that was designed for network use, such as Daminion. (NOTE: I have not used Daminion, and so I am not recommending it, I am merely pointing out that it has the feature you want)

99jon Oct 16, 2014 12:01 PM (in response to J-la)You can store all image files on a network or external hard drive as long as the small catalog file is on the main PC.
