    HiDPI : gnarly scaling

    shonib Level 1

I just got an Asus PB287 4K display.

It supports a huge range of resolutions, both "normal" and HiDPI.

The problem is that when using any resolution mode other than the max 3840x2160, I can see really awful antialiasing along the edges of text objects.

Using the same resolution, WITHOUT HiDPI, looks fine, but then text looks awful throughout the system.

Ae interface element text looks like awful upscaled bitmaps as well.

This is on the latest version of Ae.

It seems that Ae is trying to scale the viewer to compensate for the HiDPI resolution, and doing a terrible job.

Is there any way to disable/fix this viewer scaling "feature" ?
