1. Re: What's wrong with the AU DC (again)?
Stu_Neely Oct 19, 2014 6:20 PM (in response to Simon Darby)Have to agree, this is happening a bit too often lately. Very annoying for clients and slightly embarrasing for us when we reccommend this system as a solid hosting solution.

Simon Darby Oct 19, 2014 6:45 PM (in response to Simon Darby)Seems we are back online. But none the wiser. It's irritating for clients and not a good look for us as we have no clue as to what it's about.
The BC Status report simply said:
Engineering have resolved this issue and some sites on the Australian data center are no longer experiencing downtime.
Next update on event.

Fubals Oct 19, 2014 6:55 PM (in response to Stu_Neely)I'm gonna have a whinge as well...
I thought we were meant to be enjoying the most sophisticated and reliable system now that BC is with Amazon?...
It seems a very wobbly of late, and no explanation of why its occurring?? Does it have anything to do with updates that BC are making with liquid etc.. or is it something else?
Worse still, the downtime always seems to happen when I'm presenting BC to potential clients. So hard to keep a keep a straight face.

5. Re: What's wrong with the AU DC (again)?
cristinel@adobe Oct 21, 2014 12:33 AM (in response to Simon Darby)The recent downtime has been caused by the same load balancer problems we’ve identified a few weeks back. Although we have made changes to reduce the impact while waiting for the vendor to provide us with an update that fixes the problem, it’s obvious that it does not work and it generates significant impact. As a result, we’ve decided to take more drastic measures to eliminate the problem.
You can read more details about the root cause and our immediate actions on the BC Blog - http://www.businesscatalyst.com/bc-blog/incident-report-downtime-on-au-data-center-oct-201 4
