Remove dust and dirt from lens

I have some footage that I shot that has a spec of dust on the lens that I didn't notice. These are shots with a good bit of panning so it will be hard to remove. I'd like to set up a tracking mechanism, if possible, that automatically covers the spot using adjacent, good pixels so that as the camera pans, the spot is covered the entire way through by the good pixels that are similar enough that they aren't noticed. Any ideas? I have seen some examples using color mattes and cloning tool, but I want to somehow have the pixels that I want automatically calculated to the adjacent pixels.
