Hi shouldn't I just have the Creative Cloud icon in my system menubar?
Sometimes an older looking "A" icon appears besides the Creative Cloud one.
Is this some legacy updater running in the background I should get rid of?
Or is this supposed to happen when there's updates to Creative Cloud available?
Let me just note that from a user perspective it is kind of confusing.
I hope someone can provide an explanation! Thanks.
The Creative Cloud icon I'm talking about looks like this on my just updated OS X Yosemite with dark menu bar:
I didn't think of screengrabbing "the older looking 'A' icon" until it was gone again, but it looks exactly like this icon I grabbed from the Creative Cloud Preferences pane:
The older looking A icon is for Adobe Updater and it would only be coming up as and where there are any update available for the products that you have installed.
Thank you Kartikay,
I'm trying to understand why there is a separate icon for updates installing, because I can see the updates in Creative Cloud as well.
