Are you using the Lightroom Publish Services or an Export Plugin to post to Flickr?
Hi Rick - I'm using Lightroom Publish Services
Open your default browser in the background
Go to your specific Flickr instance in the Publish Services. Right Click and Select Edit Settings … to launch the Lightroom Publishing Manager
Click [Remove Authorization] in the Flickr Account Setting section
A dialog should appear [Authorize]
A Flickr tab should open in your default browser
[Ok, I'll Authorize it]
A different LR dialog should appear [Done]
Does that restore your service?
I got as far as clicking [Remove Authorisation] in the Flickr Account Setting section, but when I click Authorize, I get that same pop-up message requesting an API Key and Shared Secret.
I thought, feck it, lets remove the Flickr Publishing Service and Re-add it...removed it OK but when trying to re-add it I still get this same message.
fyi, I've just tried restoring a few LRCAT's from the last few days (before i upgraded to Yosemite) and they all have the same issue.
It worked here-no problem but I have not upgraded to Yosemite. I am hoping another user Yosemite user will chime in shortly. Which browser are you using? Safari? If you install a different browser (Chrome), set it as default (temporarily) do you get the same result?
I've fixed the error by reinstalling LR5.6. then i was able to authorise LR again OK.
I had to set up my Smart Photosets again so now I have to deal with all the duplicates :-(
thanks for your help Rikk
As it goes, the re-install did not fix the issue permanently. After a couple of application restarts, the issue returns. every time i would have to reinstall it again. I was hoping that the update to 5.7 might offer a permanent fix, but unfortunately, the same problem has returned :-(
I'm not a Creative Cloud member (as LR already offers more than I need) so I don't have access to Adobe support
With LR6 i finally bit the bullet and bought into Creative Cloud.... and after using a few times i get the same Flickr API error. but now its not as easy to re-install as when using CC you don't get to download a DMG.
but at least i can log a call with Adobe.
