Editing 32bit Tiffs not possible ?

I have a 32-bit tiff file I want to edit, photoshop is only displaying a single black image. Opening the levels panel shows a single spike in the levels for black, white and gray are non-existent. Opening the image in RAW shows an ugly blotchy image, nothing of what the original image I know should look like. I was hoping in PsCC-2014.2 this would be possible, can anyone shed some light on this problem, thank you !

Photoshop edits 32 bit/channel images just fine in several file formats that support floating point HDR data.
So it could be a problem displaying the file, or a problem with how the file was created.

Ok, the file opens without any errors - but the values in the file is very, very near zero (+- 0.0002 or so), and displays as pretty close to black by default.
Because it is less than 1/255, Levels shows it as all black until you scale it up quite a bit.
You can change the display scaling with the slider at the bottom left of the image window, or View -> 32 bit Preview Options
An exposure of about +11 makes the waves visible, though the negative values will be clipped to black.
