1. Re: Editing 32bit Tiffs not possible ?
Chris Cox Oct 21, 2014 4:02 PM (in response to StrongBeaver)Photoshop edits 32 bit/channel images just fine in several file formats that support floating point HDR data.
So it could be a problem displaying the file, or a problem with how the file was created.

4. Re: Editing 32bit Tiffs not possible ?
Chris Cox Oct 22, 2014 3:05 PM (in response to Chris Cox)Ok, the file opens without any errors - but the values in the file is very, very near zero (+- 0.0002 or so), and displays as pretty close to black by default.
Because it is less than 1/255, Levels shows it as all black until you scale it up quite a bit.
You can change the display scaling with the slider at the bottom left of the image window, or View -> 32 bit Preview Options
An exposure of about +11 makes the waves visible, though the negative values will be clipped to black.
