I have a question about importing photos into Lightroom 3. I have a Nikon D700 and my assistant has Nikon 5200. I am no longer able to import RAW photos from the 5200. I did download the DNG converter and it converted about 7 photos. Any other ideas on what to do? Is it really time you upgrade my Lightroom? Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
The most current DNG converter (version 8.6) will work (although if you were able to convert 7 photos with the DNG converter that you tried, then that one should be sufficient for your cameras)
Otherwise, you could upgrade Lightroom to the current version.

Strikes me as unlikely that you were ever able to upload D5200 files to Lr 3 - the camera is only supported from Lr 4.3:
I would highly suggest upgrading to the latest version. It has the most up to date RAW file support and is vastly improved over LR3.
