    Styles on Jump Menu

    SoftballGrl
      I'd really like to make our jump menus look better. How do I get a standard jump menu like this:
      Ugly Jump Menu

      To look more like this:
      Clean Jump Menu

      I tried applying some styles to it but it didn't work. What specific style tags do I need to change? Can someone please post an example from a css?

      Thank you in advance for your help.

          Copy and paste the following into a new DW window... check the styles in the
          head of the document that style the <select> tag

          <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN"
          " http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
          <html xmlns=" http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
          <head>
          <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1" />
          <title>Untitled Document</title>
          <script type="text/JavaScript">
          <!--
          function MM_jumpMenu(targ,selObj,restore){ //v3.0
          eval(targ+".location='"+selObj.options[selObj.selectedIndex].value+"'");
          if (restore) selObj.selectedIndex=0;
          }
          //-->
          </script>
          <style type="text/css">

          <!--
          select {
          border: 1px solid #99CC66;
          font: 12px Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;
          color: #6699FF;
          background-color:#FFF;
          width: 150px;
          }
          -->
          </style>
          </head>
          <body>
          <form name="form1" id="form1">
          <select name="menu1" onchange="MM_jumpMenu('parent',this,0)">
          <option>unnamed1</option>
          </select>
          </form>
          </body>
          </html>
