RameezKhan Oct 22, 2014 12:05 AM (in response to espenduden)Hi,
Please specify your computer configuration details along with the OS version and exact version of Premiere (as shown in the About Premiere Pro box)
Also, go to File > Project Settings > General and see which option is selected under Video rendering and Playback.
Thanks,

espenduden Oct 22, 2014 4:12 AM (in response to RameezKhan)my computer configuration details are:
-Its a MAC
-processor: 2.6 Ghz Intel core i7
-memory 8 GB 1600 Mhz DDR3
in the project settings:
-renderer: Mercury playback engine GPU acceleration (openCL)

And I'm have set the scratch disks to an external HD using USB3, could this maybe be a problem?
The strange thing is that everything worked when I Used the Premiere cs6 before i switched to premiere pro CC.

3. Re: Program monitor freezing
RameezKhan Oct 22, 2014 4:20 AM (in response to espenduden)Hi,
Which GPU is installed? Is the source media also on the external drive?
Change the GPU Acceleration to Software only and see if that helps.
Also, you haven't mentioned the exact version of Premiere.
Thanks,
Rameez
