    U44M1P34 Update failed

After digging around a bit on the web, people seem to get this error for different applications failing to install updates.

I had this myself after the patches for CC2014, and the forums seemed to go around in circles with no solution found.

Though this is a slight annoyance, I found the easiest thing to fix the problem was close Creative Cloud, delete my temporary files here: C:\Users\*Your User Name Here*\AppData\Local\Temp and then remove all files in this folder : C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\caps

Once done, I reinstalled the apps (even though I hadn't technically removed them) through Creative Cloud and my update woes were suddenly fixed. I can only guess that the media_db gets truly messed up with pathing when updates get installed (I default path install everything) which causes subsequent updates to fall over when entries in the db are missing or incorrect. Resetting this seems to solve the issue.

      HOWEVER:

I would like to point out that this is not a suitable solution. I rely on these tools for my day to day, and solution of 're-installing CC' is not an answer when I work in an environment that means doing this will eat up an entire morning of downloading and re-installing. Adobe, I suggest you find a way to clean the media_db so that you can remove entries pertaining to certains apps not updating so that we don't have to reinstall EVERYTHING and can just reset the 'problem apps'.

Whilst this may not work for everyone, I hope this helps some people.
