first of all, I must thank you for this great application, I love Photoshop CC 2014.
Here's the problem: whenever I make a selection with the Rectangular Marquee Tool and I try to scale it to the right for example, with Ctrl+T,
I want to make clear that I didn't move the selection, just scaled it on the right and deselected it. Also, as I've already pointed out, this
doesn't happen with other Interpolation options. Question: is this really how the math behind Bicubic Smoother and Sharper (Automatic
must be either of those) is supposed to work? If not, I'd so like to use the best algorithm when I scale selections without having to make
further adjustments to the outcome of the transformation as well. Thanks.
Yes I see that too. It may be trying to do some anti aliasing. I see it also for other interpolations like nearest neighbor.
Thank you for your reply.
I tried again with nearest neighbor and the grey line doesn't show up as I expected.
Can these two different behaviors on my installation and yours prove that this is not how the algorithm should work
but could be a bug of different nature?
Scaling selections is a very frequent operation in my (and other people's) workflow.
