William Eisley Oct 22, 2014 4:58 PM (in response to D.V.R.)D.V.R.,
Sorry to hear about the crashing issue that's happening with Sketch.
If you launch Sketch without an internet connection, and then reenable the connection, does Sketch crash at that point?
Also, would you be able to send us the crash logs to help us track down this issue? Please e-mail me directly at eisley@adobe.com
Here's how get the crash logs from your iPad:
Option 1: Sync your iPad to iTunes
Obtaining Crash Logs
For Mac
- Open Finder.
- Select Go > Go to Folder from the menu.
- Enter (or copy & paste): ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter/MobileDevice into the Go to Folder dialog.
- Click the Go button.
- Navigate to the folder with your device name.
- Select the crash logs with the file name Adobe<Sketch/Draw/Line>_<DATE_TIME>_<DEVICE_NAME>.crash
Option 2: Copy it from your iPadOn your iPad
- Go to Settings
- Tap on the Privacy settings
- Select ‘Diagnostics & Usage’ from the right panel
- Select ‘Diagnostics & Usage Data’ from the right panel
- Look for the file that says Adobe Draw_<DATE_TIME>_<DEVICE_NAME>.crash
- Select the latest file
- Select all of the text in that file and Select Copy
- Paste the entire text into an e-mail response back to us.
Thanks,
Will

Yes it does.
It also happens with a slight delay (takes 2-3 seconds after enabling connection till it crashes), which I guess hints at a problem with some kind of sync process.
If starting up with an internet connection there is also a slight delay between having started up and crashing.
I have sent you the latest crash report through email.

D.V.R. Oct 24, 2014 4:58 AM (in response to melissapiccone)NIce to hear that I am not the only one expierencing this issue,
on a side note, the problems started for me in iOS 7 too.. I updated to 8.1 after the bug appeared, hoping that may fix it.. it didnt.
But this might sugest that something in iOS 7 may becausing this, and that iOS 8 users are safe?

Hi, I'm using both iOS7 and iOS8 iPads now because I recently got iPad Air 2 (iOS8 default) and still keep the old one (iOS7) as well.
I have exactly the same crashing issue at launching Photoshop Sketch on iOS7. So I can't open any project on it.
As for iOS8 (on the newer iPad), things may be worse because right after I updated "Sketch" to "Photoshop Sketch," all my artworks started to get messed up with a lot of noise which can't be removed all anyhow. Before I actually tap and open the project, it looks alright in the thumbnail. But once I do it, boom! and my drawings get noise. It seems to appear on a specific color on each drawing. Incidentally, undoing doesn't help.
Here's an example of the case (in this one, the noise appeared only on the skin);
(the original one on the left was saved before I updated the Sketch.)
I really would like to know if this can be fixed or my drawings are collapsed forever...

Clark Donahue Nov 11, 2014 10:12 AM (in response to Chopchopchop)Chopchopchop,
Can you update to Sketch 2.0.1 on your iOS 7 device and see if the blotchy strokes show up there? Sketch 2.0.1 was just released last weekend and should fix your crash on launch issue.
If possible leave your Air 2 on Sketch 2.0 for comparison purposes for the time being.
Thanks
Clark

Chopchopchop Nov 11, 2014 11:24 PM (in response to Clark Donahue)Thanks for your quick response!
Updating actually solved the crashing issue.
I already updated to 2.0.1 on both iOS7 and iOS8 and those blotchy strokes are still there. I don't think I can roll back to 2.0 any more...
What should I do to remove the noise?
