It may work in Compatibility Mode, but chances are that it will not work at all.
What problems did you encounter during the install?

Pat,
Sorry for the delay in responding. The Adobe PDF Printer driver does not install and so when trying to convert a Word 2003 document to a PDF the message “PDF Maker cannot locate the Adobe PDF Printer driver. Please re-instal Adobe Acrobat elements”. I have re-installed the Adobe Acrobat elements three times but to no avail.
Any help that you can give would be appreciated.
Regards
Alan

I have never heard of "Adobe Acrobat elements”...
Did you install it under Compatibility Mode? Acrobat 6 was released in 2003, so XP Compatibility Mode may do the trick.

But thinking about it, drivers may not install at all, even under Compatibility Mode. Still worth a try...

Assuming 6 precedes 7, there is no longer an activation server for Acrobat Pro version 7 or earlier. You might be able to get version 7 via the page linked below, but that still is no guarantee that it will be compatible with your newer system
