Error Code Add On annoying notification

    Michael Hoefler Community Member

How can I get rid of this annoying notification, popping up since two weeks. I' ve already tried what Adobe suggested.

I installed the old CS 6, I installed the add on but sit this notification is popping up after every restart.

      Error Code: -403, -411

      Compatible CC app not found.

Solution: Install a compatible Adobe application before installing Add-ons.

Once the application is installed, try installing the Add-on again. To do this, go to My Add-ons, find the add-on, and if it is already installed, first click Remove. Wait two minutes for the removal to complete, then click Install.

Here you see, that there is no "remove" button available.

      Please help

      Thanks

          Hi Michael

Is it ActiveText for Mac that you're trying to install into Premiere version CS6? If so, please check that you have Extension Manager CS6 installed and not version CC - as that will not install the addon into Premiere for you.

If you are still having problems, please send us more information such as your operating system version, your Extension Manager version, and your Premiere Pro version.

          Thanks

            Hi

No, it is the film impact add on. Extension manager cs6 is installed and the add on is installed for cs 6 properly. But still the warning is popping up.

            Mac OS 10.10

            CC 2014, CC and CS6

            Extension Manger CC and CS6

I am not using CS6. I just installed it to get rid of this warning.

            But unfortunately it doesn't work.

            Freundliche Grüße

            Yours sincerely

              Hi again Michael

You say you have it installed correctly for CS6, but when I look at the compatibility for the product it is only for CC and CC2014 versions of Premiere. This means you should use only Extension Manager CC to install it if you have Premiere CC. If it is showing up in Extension Manager CS6 it is best to remove that and it should prevent the pop you are receiving.

                Hi

Because transition Pack 1 for CC and CC 2014 is already installed since months and this error code is a recent one (since 10days) I thought it is for CS6. So, I downloaded CS6, installed this extension with Extension Manger CS 6 and all was fine. No more error code. But I don't want to have all this CS 6 stuff on my mac just to get rid of an error code. So I deinstalled CS 6 and boom, the nice error code is back. So, I think the only solution is to remove this add-on out of my CC add-on panel. But there is no „remove“ option. Please delete this add on.

                Thanks for your help.

                Michael

                  Hi Michael

We'll look into why that 'remove' button is not available when you are in 'My Add-ons' and get back to you. Meantime please confirm that you still have Transition Pack installed in CC as well as CS6?

                  Regards,

                  Krystal

                    Hi Krystal

I deleted CS 6 completely from the MacPro. So it is only installed in CC and CC2014.

But here I installed it some time ago not with Extension Manager. I used the installer Filmimpact delivered.

                    Thanks

                    Michael
