What all have you tried (so we don't offer up stale ideas and waste your time)?
Clear program cache, preference reset, cleaner tool reinstall, etc?

I've looked for extensions (there aren't any) and I've tried looking for "WinFileCache*****.dat" and "FileCache*****.dat" to delete them, but cannot seem to find them, anywhere, so can't delete them. Those are the two most common suggestions that I've found, so far.

Ah, you need to turn on your OS's hidden files to get to the right place for those steps.
Control Panels > Folder Options > Turn on the radio button on "Show hidden files, folders and drives"
Then you can try the cache, config steps.

That's already checked on.
I went into C: drive via Windows Explorer and used the search bar, looking for "filecache*.dat" and didn't find any that were for DreamWeaver.

You need to browse to it, the Windows search function won't show you hidden files and folders without additional shenanigans.
Also, the actual file is WinFileCache-(random numbers and letters).dat
Using "filecache*.dat" as the search term will come up empty handed, at least it did when I tested it from the folder with the WinFileCache*******.dat file in it...

Do you know the folder that the .dat file is in? I can just use Windows Explorer to navigate to the folder, directly.

-your hard drive letter- > Users > -your user name- > AppData > Roaming > Adobe > Dreamweaver -version #- > -your language- > Configuration

AH! Thanks! Found the little bugger and kicked it to the Recycle Bin.
