If I understand the question correctly, my answer is that InDesign has no native features which would enable any sort of bulk email distribution maneuvers. Essentially, you'd now export to PDF and attach, and/or use a 3rd party utility to automate whatever operations might be applicable.
Thanks for your answer. I'm looking up option in Forms, as there seems to be a way to send emails using this function. Will keep posted !
Nope. Wrong function. Indeed, I need to export to PDF first and use another software to send out my emails.
Would be a usefull tool for creating newsletters though...
It's not an email creation tool.
Word can do it because Outlook/native email clients accept word documents and their structures.
How they look in all the other email readers available is another story.
Consider using Campaign Monitor, Customer MInds, Mail Chimp or other service, this will vastly help.
