Any reason not to buy an EVGA 1600w platinum PSU?

That is, versus any other brand of like capacity?  The full tag of the model, just out, is  EVGA SuperNOVA 220-P2-1600-X1 1600W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS Platinum Certified SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Full Modular Power Supply 5yr Warranty New 4th Gen Intel CPU ECO Mode

Its specs match or exceed the Corsair AXi 1500 (from what I can tell) at $70 less, plus there's the unresolved issue of the Corsair/5960x/x99 combo burning up in more than several handfuls of reported cases.

      Any advice?
