I'm new to using Cineware, so I may be missing something obvious. But when I import a C4D file into AE and use Cineware to extract the scene data, the camera has only Position and Point of Interest data -- not the Z Rotation keyframes I added in C4D. Any advice on how to get the rotation data to come through? Thanks.
I'm running After Effects CC 2014 (2014.1.1) and Cinema 4D Broadcast R16 (R16.027) on a MacBook Pro, OS X 10.9.5 (Mavericks).
That's odd. What about X or Y rotation?
Try creating a new project in C4D and then importing that into a new AE project.
sorry for my bad english
I had this problem. What happens is, if you put a target tag in your camera, the rotation becomes a point of interest in after. So to work around this you can simple duplicate the camera in cinema, remove the target tag, and extract both cameras in after. One camera comes with point of interest and other with rotation. Just combine them.
hope it helps.
