1. Re: Why won't .MOV files export from Lightroom?
Rob Cole Oct 24, 2014 9:36 PM (in response to Ronthom)The will.
Or at least they can, and do, sometimes, if you have good MOV karma..
Why not supply a little more info, like:
* Which OS
* Which version of Lightroom
* History of MOV files.
* Export format.
* Do other video types export OK
* How many different MOV files have you tried - all with the same history?
and of course:
* What, exactly, happens, when you try?
Rob.

2. Re: Why won't .MOV files export from Lightroom?
equick22 Nov 12, 2014 12:09 AM (in response to Rob Cole)Same issue. Trying to export .mov from Lightroom so that I can take edited footage and relink it to my edit in fcpx. When I export I get mp4 files (there's no option for mov). Interestingly enough, if I change the file extension to mov instead of MP4, I can relink footage taken on my t3i but not files from my 6D.

3. Re: Why won't .MOV files export from Lightroom?
Rob Cole Nov 12, 2014 2:00 AM (in response to equick22)Yeah, Lr only exports original (not re-encoded), or mp4 (h.264), that's it (well, also dpx..).
If it can re-encode your mov files, consider yourself lucky .
Cheers,
Rob
