Did you have this problem with previous, stable versions of MacOS?
I used to have it with the last release (Mavericks) but it was no where near as intense as this.
I noticed there are quite a few cursor related issues with Yosemite. And that got me thinking.
I unplugged my external HD Cinema Display and tested PS on my MB Pro's retina display. The cursor issue was reduced to previous levels of flashing. I would say it's 80% less flashy than the gif I posted.
So now I have plugged back in the Cinema and right now it's still 80% less flashy, but it's still there. At least it's not driving me insane.
Hi Chris. So I have finally discovered the issue, or why this is happening.
Problem: When photoshop is left open, and my MBP goes to sleep, upon awakening, I get the flickering cursor.
Solution: Unplug the thunderbolt connection from my MBP and plug it back in. No more flicker.
I have the newest MacBook Pro 15 (mid 2015) machine and the latest Photoshop CC version. Still I've got this flickering issue as well!
