1. Re: "unknown c++ exception" when trying to delete keyframes
heathrowe Oct 25, 2014 6:32 AM (in response to cropher)Yes, unfortunately those are issues that need to be resolved, as noted by the other threads the past few weeks. The Dev team is actively working to correct this and other issues that came with the MAX release build.

linderboyd Oct 27, 2014 1:14 PM (in response to heathrowe)Is there a release date for the fix? We have several instances of this error at my work, it's making it hard to do our job.

6. Re: "unknown c++ exception" when trying to delete keyframes
linderboyd Oct 27, 2014 2:00 PM (in response to cropher)Yes, I can use a previous version, but my current work does not open in it. I lost almost 2 days of work with this error, I have to recreate all of my pieces from scratch now. This is just me my co-workers have to do the same thing.
Maybe think twice about putting out an update if it's going to break like this.

9. Re: "unknown c++ exception" when trying to delete keyframes
Evert Krooswijk Nov 12, 2014 2:47 AM (in response to cropher)I have the same C++ exception when I try to delete keyframes, or copy objects.
In some cases it's also impossible to delete a keyframe (mostly when these are set by auto-keyframe).
It's good to hear that you've apparently solved the issue. I understand that it's tricky to to give an exact release date for the next update, (You don't want to release an update that introduces new bugs.) but are we talking days or weeks here?
I need to know if I have to rebuild my project in a previous version or that I can hold out another week.

theoneeyedlizard Nov 12, 2014 2:48 AM (in response to cropher)We really need a fix for this. I have also lost day of work due to these errors. This is the most unstable version of Edge yet.

noupgyfot7d5rixyfkcuglvih Nov 12, 2014 9:01 AM (in response to cropher)I have also seen the same error in the recent build, and agree that it is extremely frustrating.
One way to work around is to open your _edge.js file in Edge Code and manually remove the keyframes.
It is not ideal, but does get the job done and is a good exercise to help you learn about how Edge Animate makes keyframes. It comes in really handy when editing a large amount of keyframes / properties... doing it with Edge Code can be much quicker / easier than clicking hundreds of times.
