I'm trying to download InDesign to my mac, it says it's downloading but nothing happening. The only thing that I think can be wrong (not a computer expert!) is that I don't have enough available RAM. I have 4GB in total and the download requires 2GB, but my activity monitor says I only have about 1.1 GB free and this is once I've closed all programs accept google chrome (from which I'm downloading).
Is it impossible for me to make the download or there could be some way around this?? Someone has some advice for downloading to macs?
We seem to have download issues every time we download. I'm a computer dunce but our IS team are experts. We end up using Adobes tech chat assistance or the 800 number. Last time they had our IS team delete a (prior) Adobe file in our system that was locking us out of our download despite the fact we had uninstalled previous versions of Adobe. Good luck.
