    Color Picker

    Level 7
Is there a way to change the default color picker in Director? It's pretty
tedious to have to click on the color, then select "Color Picker" from the
drop-down box every single time, just to be able to get a display with the
actual color values instead of just a selection of swatches. This is one of
those minor UI things that's bugged me about the program for a long time.
Hopefully now that Adobe runs the show they'll make some improvements in
this area? (Photoshop's color picker would be ideal. Director's has always
      been somewhat lacking.)

You might have better luck in the non-Lingo forum.

Hmm, I always assumed that was more like the "beginners" forum, while this
was the "advanced" forum. I'll post it there as well, just in case, but
it's been my experience that the most experienced people tend to be found
            here...

I can relate to your frustration, and can't say that I have an answer. Obviously using the 'Edit Favorite Colors' to create swatches helps.

Luke Wigley's Colour Finder ulility is also a very handy tool to facilitate colour selection that I use regularly
