ALSO ive noticed this really only happens when the application is trying to loadnew content or contacting the server.
i have also tried Security.allowDomain("*")
the crossdomain.xml needs to be in the root of the web server that is serving the *data*. For instance, in IIS, it would be in ...\inetpub\wwwroot. On tomcat, it would go in ...\webapps.
If you have trouble finding the right place, put it every-damn where until it works, then remove them until it breaks.
Is there no possibility to place the crossdomain.xml in a subfolder and NOT in the root?
In Tomcat I figured that it must be plaed under ROOT directory of webapps.
But I am using axis2 container in which my webservices are deployed. I tried putting this crossdomain.xml file and couldnot fix my error.
If anyone knows that please reply.
Try adding security="false" inside the next line:
so it would look something like
<allow-access-from domain="*" security="false" />
It fixed the problem for me.
