I believe that you are referring to the Creative cloud applications.
You will have to install them to use. Th cloud space is for uploading your files and documents.
Thanks, I thought that since it’s a cloud, for instance, If I started a project at the office and by the time I got home wanted to add something, I could connect with my profile and open the application( which ever I was working the project with) from the cloud, work-add or edit and save it. Without any download to my personal computer, do everything online inside the cloud!!
Adobe uses the Cloud for some file storage, but not as a space to run programs
