    Video Stretched

      My clips are suddenly importing 2560X1080. I'm trying to get them in through their native 1920X1080. What did I do wrong?

          You are ingesting them through Prelude?

          Do you have Transcode checked on when you in ingest?

          If so, what preset are you using for the Transcode?

          Have you verified that the preset is set to act as you expect?

            Yes, I was ingesting through Prelude.

            I also had the transcode checked. I was using H.264 and I double checked my preset.

             

            The footage was playing fine in the camera. Prelude was viewing it stretched.

             

            I decided to erase the footage off my camera.

            I shot some new clips.

             

            When I reconnected everything was back to the correct aspect ratio as transcoded fine.

             

            I don't think I did anything to cause the problem. I also didn't do anything to fix it. But now it's working.
