Adhoc app about to expire

I have previously created an app via the adobe digital publishing suite. The app was created as an adhoc distribution, the app is due to expire, I know I need to generate new certificates. My question is do I need to go back to the original indesign files, can I simply go to the folio builder to unpublish the file, and republish with the updated certificates?

What do you mean by "adhoc app"? Is this a Single Edition app or are you a DPS professional/enterprise customer?

Do the following:

1)      Run App Builder from your Applications folder

2)      You’ll likely get a screen up telling you how to use InDesign to create apps. In the bottom right of the screen should be a link that says “Manage my Apps” or something similar. Click that.

3)      In the resulting list of apps you’ll be able to download your existing app. Download it and you will be prompted for the new certificates as part of the download process.

Thanks Neil, I will give that a try. So according to this method - it looks like I don't have to get the original indesign documents off archive.
