What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
Premiere Elements 10?
This is the Premiere Elements 10/NVIDIA GeForce story if you are caught up in it...
Bad news if Premiere Elements/NVIDIA GeForce on Windows 8 or 8.1 64 bit.
Also, if you are using Windows 7 64 bit, what Windows theme are you using - High Contrast?
Based on your reply, we will can decide what next for troubleshooting strategy.
I am using Windows 7 64 bit and Adobe Premiere Elements 12. We are definitely not using the high contrast theme, the Windows 7 Aero theme is being used.
I noticed the thread yesterday about Premiere Elements 10, that is why I am trying to roll back drivers to older versions.
Downgrading the driver to 340.52 solves the problem.
Thanks for the reply.
The issue that has caused so many problems is the one with the Premiere Elements 10/NVIDIA GeForce syndrome. In a situation such as that, the only answer to date is the driver version roll back to May 2013.
If you have Premiere Elements 12 on a Windows 7 64 bit computer, that is another matter. But, this one has a driver version that you can roll back to.
But, great news of your success. Great job.
