What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer operating system is it running?
When you say
"...now the thumbnails aren't showing up..."
do you mean that you use the Elements Organizer File Menu/Get Photos and Videos/From Files and Folders, select your Premiere Elements exported files, and no thumbnails appear in the Elements Organizer workspace....or are you just missing images in the thumbnails?
What are the details of your export from the Premiere Elements project....assuming Premiere Elements 11, 12, or 13 on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit....
Publish+Share/Computer/and then what with regard to Preset? Did you use the default settings for the preset selected or did you customize
the preset under the Advanced Button/Video and Audio Tabs of the preset?
I'm using premiere elements 12 on my PC.
I imported raw clips into my organizer. They showed up with thumbnails so i could see what video i was using.
I took each clip one by one and created a project for them where I edited and trimmed them to be my processed and final clip.
Each time I rendered the clip and saved it into a processed file on my s drive.
I published it under the computer button and then chose the mpeg option.
Then for presents I chose HDTV 1080p 29.97 High Quality.
Once I did this for all my clips I deleted the raw from the organizer and uploaded all of my processed clips.
The problem is that now in my organizer none of the clips have a picture showing up. I have to look at the info to be able to tell which clip it is.
Thanks for the reply with the very helpful details.

I suspect that we are in a no win situation here - an Elements Organizer 12 issue.
With Elements Organizer 11, 10, and 9, I can bring your MPEG2.mpg into the Elements Organizer with thumbnail with
image. I cannot for Elements 12. And, I am working with the same MPEG2.mpg in Elements Organizer 9.0/9.0.1, 10, 11,
and 12 on the same computer. In the morning, I will look Elements Organizer 13 as well.
In my work with 12, this MPEG2.mpg consistently crashed the Elements Organizer 12.
It is difficult to explain these results by invoking a missing codec theory since all was done with the same sample on the
I began replying to this thread originated by an ID neuron113. That neuron113 is on the email notification to which I am now responding. But now I see no trace of neuron113. Did you change IDs?
Nonetheless, my follow up with the Premiere Elements 13 Elements Organizer 13 side of things is this.
If you are using the tryout Premiere Elements 13 Elements Organizer 13, an MPEG2.mpg will not load into the Elements Organizer 13.
According to posts here by Adobe Staff, this should not be the case in the purchased version.
So, are you working with tryout or purchased programs?
thank you for your responses!
