What operating system are you running?
Hello, My operating system is windows 8.1. The fonts used to be there before it crashed and I reimaged. Not sure if I should buy the fonts separately or if I should reinstall the whole cs 5 software... Thank you!
Seems best to reinstall than repay. Trajan Pro is included with Photoshop.
Don't forget your updates, especially if the updater doesn't work.
Thank you, I guess I will have to do that. No avoiding it. Thank you again for your time and responsiveness.
For anyone who may have a similar problem, I found the solution to get the fonts back without the painful reinstall of the entire 5.5 suite.
1. I went to this site: "http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs5-5-direct-download-links.html"
2. Scrolled down to extra content section: CS5.5 Design Premium & Web Premium Extra Content (176 MB) There are other extra content option for those who need them. I needed the Design Premium just to make sure I had the correct files. Extra content is free for those who already have the adobe software.
After downloading the extra content file, I unzipped it, found fonts in this path: Downloads\CS5.5 Design Web\English\Goodies\Fonts\Adobe
Copied the Fonts from the Goodies\Fonts folder into C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CS5.5\Fonts; and into: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts. Also into C:\Windows\Fonts - for good measure.
After this simple exercise, all my fonts were restored to the way they were before the laptop was reimaged. Now, why on earth did the fonts disappear from their respective font folders after the machine was reimaged, I cannot guess, I am just happy to be able to continue working.
