Trial of LiveCycle, error when logging into ReaderExtensions page

I have the trial version of LC ES4, alsong with the PFX I retrieved from a zip file on the same download page. When I attempt to login to the ReaderExtensions page I get: "a fault occurred while trying to access the list of Reader Extensions credentials." How can I resolve this? I'm using administrator as user and password for the password.

I found SP1 for ES4 and installed this. I have now eliminated the previously mentioned error. Now I have access to the Reader Extensions. I choose my PDF to extend, select the options I want and then get a "Failure" message. It indicates the Encryption Service is not running or installed. So, how do I fix this new problem?

Follow this page : http://help.adobe.com/en_US/livecycle/9.0/adminHelp/admin.htm?content=000383.html , search for Encryption Service.
You can also start it using LiveCycle Workbench. Go to "View" -> Components.
