I have the Adobe Photoshop CC Classroom in a Book, and i'm working on lesson five where it talks about Adding Depth of Field. However when I merge the two photos, the background is very blurry. I have tried reversing the layers, but this only resulted in the inverse, with the wine glass being blurry. I have gone through this part with two different people to make sure I was following the directions exactly. It happened the same way each time. I also cannot find the Iris Blur when I look under Filter - Blur. How can I continue in my lessons if the project does not do what the book says it should do?
Your info is sketchy and vague and you will find that it really doesn't citing resources that many people around here have read the last time 20 years ago, if at all. Presumably you are doing something wrong with your selections, but well, your description is really not much use...
I'm sorry for not being more specific. I'll try again with photos later this evening. My problem is not understanding the computer language very well at all. Even though I am a writer and love communicating, somehow I managed to skip computers. thank you for your help.
