I am using a typeface in which the glyphs are not totally solid, and the background colour shows through. I have tried to hand colour these, using a new layer, but all I get is a bunch of points and wriggly lines - in black (and I am drawing in white).
After that didn't work I tried exporting to PhotoShop where I could colour in easily - but the text had to be rasterised and now is very pixellated. This happened even when I used a new layer for the painting and then merged the two layers so it could be replaced in InDesign.
Is there any way to simply fill in the dots with a tool of some sort?
Any help gratefully received.
I have never seen nor heard of a font where the glyphs are not a solid color. Could you provide information about what this font is, what font type it is, and a screen capture.
