{{globals.get.ID}} is returning the OID instead of the page address

Though it would make sense for {{globals.get.ID}} to return the OID instead of the page address, that isn't what is documented. I'm trying to use it to return what is documented. This is within a web app detail.html layout, if that helps with the debugging.
