Converting Demo Movie to Custom or Training simulation

Does anyone know if there is a way to convert an exiting movie into a trining or custom simulation where the user would actually have to do the mouse clicks and enter the information for training?

Hi mason93 and welcome to the community

No, there is no magical "easy button" for doing this. You can take one of the following approaches.

          1. When recording:

Enable all conceivable options. Then duplicate the recording either within the same movie or save as to create a second copy. Then you remove the interactive elements from the demonstration portion and remove the demonstration bits from the simulation portion.

          2. With an existing movie:

Dupduplicate the recording either within the same movie or save as to create a second copy. Then you add the interactive elements to create the simulation.

Whether you save as or duplicate slides in a single movie will depend on the size of your movie. If your movie is already at or near about 60 slides or so, then you want to save as and work with a different project. But if you only have perhaps 25 or 30 slides, then you can copy all of them and paste back into the same movie.

          Hopefully this helps... Rick
