Autoplay does not take effect on iOS devices. Generally, user interaction is required to initiate audio/video on iOS.
thanks I knew that, but I'm talking about simply showing the video playing on the iOs screen... if I simply press on play controls or trigger a video action, nothing happens... the video doesn't show on iOs, you can only see the poster image...
So I've had a little work around, and I managed to discover that videos had to be imported in EA by groups in two formats minimum (mp4 and ogv), so the videos can play on ipad in safari and possibly anywhere else...
But, They don't play in full screen mode, i'm referring to the apple UIWebView when using the "Add to Home Screen" button from the Share icon in Safari.
I finally discovered that this meta tag line might be the cause : <meta name="apple-mobile-web-app-capable" content="yes">
...Since isn't this the only line that enables the full screen mode ? when launching the home screen button...
my intention is to make this web app prototype including videos and customised controllers ...
where to go ?
We have fixed the issue and will be available in the next update soon.
