    Please tell me how to remove the "trial" message from version XI - I've uninstalled it and it keeps coming back!

      I had a trial version of Acrobat Pro XI on my computer, and decided to go back to version X from CS6, which I own. I uninstalled version XI using the Windows Add and Remove Programs. I just checked, it's not in the list anymore, so it appears as though the uninstall was successful. I restarted my computer. I re-installed Acrobat X from my CS6 disk, with the serial number. It starts fine, but then I get the trial message for version XI, telling me I have 30 days left in my trial. WHAT trial? I've uninstalled XI!! How do get rid of this? I close it, and version X remains open, but I get the nag screen EVERY time I use Acrobat X. **argh!!!!!!!**

       

      The only responses I've seen on this site are to uninstall (have done, didn't work) or to use other tools, one of which I tried to install and it was blocked by my system.

       

      Please someone, throw me a line.
